With his paper published in 2014 entitled "Die Kompensationsmelodie: Eine experimentalhermeneutische Untersuchung der Individualpsychologie mit Hilfe der Psycho-Musik-Analyse (PMuA) innerhalb der Intertherapeutik (Intertherapeutische Musik Analyse Ith.MuA)", the individual psychologist Manuel Fürholzer first developed and tested a practical experimental hermeneutic research instrument belonging to the category of Psycho-Media-Games (PMG) in the context of his Bachelor study, in which he exerted the research practice of a Psycho-Music-Analysis (PMuA) in an intertherapeutic mode. With a corresponding pioneer spirit, Fürholzer trans-medialized central theoretical terminology from the field of individual psychology, giving them musical form in as a personally composed instrumental piece, which was then interpreted by external individuals from heterogenous therapy schools and afterward confronted with the therapy school of the author, in order to determine potential convergences and divergences, which were then discussed. The pilot project was conducted according to and intended as an experimental trial of a theoretical method concept developed by Kurt Greiner. Furthermore, the project also served the purpose of assessing the pertinent practicality and relevance of PMuA among the procedural variants of hermeneutic therapy school research.
