Atem, Embodiment und Gesundheit: Eine philosophisch psychologische Interpretation zur buddhistischen Atemmeditation (ānāpāna-sati)

Die Atemmeditation (Pāli ānāpāna-sati) spielt aufgrund der westlichen Rezeption der buddhistischen Achtsamkeitspraxis in gegenwärtigen psychotherapeutischen Interventionen eine entscheidende Rolle. In diesem Artikel wird – primär anhand von buddhistischer Literatur – phänomenologisch interpretiert, wie psychologische Veränderungen als Folge der Atemmeditationspraxis verstanden werden können. Eine indigen buddhistische Psychologie des Atmens enthält für die westliche Psychologie und Psychotherapie in Bezug auf das Verständnis der Geist-Körper-Interaktion, Wohlbefinden und Gesundheit wichtige Dimensionen.Literaturhinweise
