Abstract

In an era characterized by globalization, stark polarization in wealth and income as well as unprecedented mobility, immigration has become one of the most pressing challenges facing nations around the world. Being in the heart of Europe, Austria has seen significant number of immigrants. Being an immigrant psychoanalyst, the author aims to address challenges related to immigrants in the context of psychoanalytic theory and practice, with emphasis on intercultural inequalities.
