Abstract

This article is connected to the article “Trauma, Mirror Neurons, Self Reference and the Mindful Therapist” (SFU Research Bulletin, Edition 1/2015, p. 28-42). The healing process in trauma therapy is significantly supported by an empathetic and compassionate attachment between therapist and patient. The activated trauma state of the patient resonates in the mirror neuron system of the therapist the liveliness of the therapist is mirrored by the patient and can be embodied as a resource state.

    Dr. med. Karl-Klaus Madert, geb. 1951, Facharzt für Neurologie, Psychiatrie und Psychosomatische Medizin, Psychoanalytiker nach C.G. Jung (DGAP), Weiterbilder, Lehr- und Kontrollanalytiker (BLÄK). Lehrtherapeut für Bioenergetische Analyse  (BLÄK, DVBA, MGBA). Traumatherapeut (DeGPT) und EMDR-Therapeut (EMDRIA).
