Abstract

This article orients itself on a master thesis (Autor, 2021) that set its goal, using the „intertherapeutic text-puzzle“-method, to revisit the deeper meaning of the individualpsychological concept called „the feeling of inferiority“. The basic thought has been to analyse the roughly 100 years old term „feeling of inferiority“. Therefor the scientific method called „Intertherapeutic Text Puzzle“ by Kurt Greiner offers a great oppurtinity.

First, the most important terms of individual psychology are extracted from its original source and will be implanted in another psychotherapeutic and scientific text. The so created „new-text“ is tested for distinctive passages, which create the sensation of irritation. Those irritations are confronted with the known theory. Following this method, we will extract provoking sentences, meaning phrases, which could contain new ideas. This process is illustrated using one specific example, which goes even into more detail about Gestalt Therapy. The potential of this passage is going to be presented to and afterwards discussed in the form of a written statement by experts. Those experts look back on a yearlong experience as individual psychologists or philosophers.
