There is a growing recognition of the importance of faith-based organisations in the field of environmental activism and combating the effects of climate change. The following report outlines the work of IFEES/EcoIslam, who have been translating the theological basis of Islamic environmental ethics into practical activism for 30 years. It is a summary of a presentation given at the December 2021 conference for EMEL (European Muslim Eco Lab).
